Albert Roussel

(born April 5, 1869 in Tourcoing, France - died. August 23, 1937 in Royan) - a French composer, one of the most important symfoników twentieth century. Musical studies be gan rather late, at age 25 (previously, like Nikolai Rimsky-Korsa kov, was a sailor) in referring to the tradition of César Franck University Schola Cantorum, where one of his teachers was the Vincent d Indy.
